  Try this reading challenge over summer and see how many you can tick off!

   If your book was made into a film, what kind of film would it be?  Who would you have starring in it?  Design a movie poster to show how your book might look as a film and send it to Mrs Rice using the email address discoverycentre@townsend.herts.sch.uk

   You may have done this in form time already this week, but if not, have a chat with a friend or two who have also read both books, which one did each of you prefer and why?

  There is lots of literature on the LGBTQ+ community out there, including fiction and non fiction.  Here is a selection to start you off if you are looking to read more.

 If the character in your book was on Social Media, what would their profile look like? Use this template to design a profile - it can be for a character from a book you're currently reading, or one of your favourite books!

 

 Filling out book reviews not only gets you to reflect and think about the last book you read, but also helps to identify what type of books you like to read for future.  This can help massively with choosing your next book - use the template here to write some short answers about a book you've read recently.  Or if you read a few over half term, fill one out for each book!

There is lots of literature on the Black Lives Matter movement, including fiction and non fiction.  Here is a selection to start you off if you are looking to read more.
